As Origo wrote on Wednesday at a Florida zoo, one of the cleaners broke into one of the tigers in violation of the rules to caress it. Then the animal caught it and did not want to let it go. Eventually, the endangered tiger had to be shot.
The 26-year-old man was responsible for cleaning the washrooms and the gift shop, meaning he shouldn’t have been around the tiger. He then shook his hand to caress it or feed him. The animal then caught his hand and did not release it.
Body chambers were picked up as help arrived at the man who he yells, “I’m going to die.” Eventually, the tiger had to be shot.
The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance helicopter, where his condition is stable, writes the Daily Star.
