Due to its portability and gaming offerings, the Nintendo Switch is a very popular console despite its age, of which there has been an OLED panel version for some time. However, by 2022, this product will be difficult to obtain, writes Origo.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa says the Nintendo Switch will fall victim to component supply problems next year due to global semiconductor shortages. This means that stock shortages are expected, it will be very difficult to buy such a product. Of course, this has not been easy so far, it has been difficult to achieve in many markets since its launch. This time, however, Nintendo has already lowered its sales forecasts.
Since the Lite model uses nearly the same hardware, there will also be problems with its availability. As a matter of fact, they could only prepare for this year’s holidays by bringing millions of Switch consoles by train to Europe and by plane to America. The big question is whether rivals will be able to take advantage of the situation, it depends on who gets more parts.
