Last year, the chairman of the Committee was the Prime Minister; and the only vice-chairman – the head of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. The Minister of Assets was only a member of the committee.

The new composition of the Economic Committee also lacked the deputy prime minister, the minister of culture, national heritage and sport. The committee will also not include the ministers of development, labor and technology, as well as digitization and finance, funds and regional policy – due to their changes or liquidation.

“The tasks of the Committee include ensuring the coordination of preparations, activities and efficient decision-making in matters relating to the economy, public finance, country development or in matters with anticipated financial effects in the amount exceeding PLN 500 million per year, and recommending the Council of Ministers or the Prime Minister of proposals, including scope “- we read in the regulation published in Monitor Polski.
