Portugal recorded this Saturday over 21 deaths and 23,290 cases of covid-19, according to data from the daily report of the General Directorate of Health (DGS).
There is a slight decrease in the number of admissions. There are now 1,023 people admitted to the ward, one fewer than the day before, and there are 142 people admitted to Intensive Care Units, three fewer people.
Active cases increased again in the last 24 hours, totaling 196,223, 17,511 more than on Friday, and 5,758 people recovered from the disease, bringing the national total of recoveries to 1,197,737.
Of the 21 deaths, seven occurred in the North region, six in the Center, four in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, one in Alentejo, one in Algarve, one in Madeira and one in the Azores.
