A drunken young Italian man managed to jump the fence of the Museum of “Art Collections” in Bucharest on New Year’s Eve, but was caught by the gendarme guarding the lens and immobilized with tear gas. The Italian citizen was fined and said he was partying in a nearby restaurant.

On the first day of 2022, around 02.00, a gendarme guarding the Museum of “Art Collections” in Bucharest detained a drunk man, who climbed the fence of the institution.

The gendarme managed to immobilize the person in question using the irritating tear gas spray, until the arrival of the intervention crew.

The young man who tried to enter the museum is an Italian citizen born in Naples.

He was fined 500 lei for violating the legal access rules.

The young Italian stated that before jumping the fence, he spent time in a nearby location, a building with a courtyard next to the museum, where a restaurant operates.
