Presentation of CRLV in the state was suspended because of the pandemic, but the decree of calamity ended on the last 31
As of this Saturday (1st), the 2021 licensing is again required for vehicles registered in Minas Gerais. Therefore, drivers should be aware that the document is mandatory.
According to Detran, the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV) for the year 2021, in digital or printed format, is the valid document to prove the regularity of the vehicle in circulation.
The presentation of the document was suspended due to the state of calamity resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic and the decision to resume the mandatory requirement of CRLV considers the end of the period of public calamity due to the coronavirus pandemic, on December 31, as per State Decree No. 48.205/2021.
Vehicle owners who do not yet have the CRLV 2021 should access the Detran website to check for IPVA debts, mandatory insurance, Annual Vehicle Licensing Renewal Fee and any fines.
