Ursa Bogataj triumphed in the qualification for the New Year’s competition of the New Year’s Eve Tournament on the hill in Ljubno (HS94). The Slovenian national won after a jump of 92 meters. Polish women were not promoted to the competition.

The New Year’s qualifications ended with the victory of Ursa Bogataj. The Slovene landed at 92 meters and overtook Sara Takanashi (89 m) and Ema Klinec (88.5 m). The fourth was Katharina Althaus (87 m), and the fifth – the leader of the New Year’s Eve Tournament, Nika Kriznar (87.5 m).

The following places were taken by Spela Rogelj (88 m), Yuka Seto (88.5 m), Nika Prevc (88 m) and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (83.5 m). The top ten was closed by Jerneja Brecl (87.5 m).

World Cup leader Marita Kramer was ranked 17th after a trial of 84 meters.

The Polish national team did not manage to be promoted to the competition. The fifty-first place was taken by Nicole Konderla (76.5 m), while Anna Twardosz (73.5 m) was sixty-third.

Qualifications were conducted from the 18th and 17th Landing Platforms.
