First COVID-19 data in 2022. Over 12,000 infections

According to data from Saturday, 12,032 people fell ill with COVID-19 throughout Poland. There were 179 patients who died solely from the coronavirus, and 326 people with comorbidities.

This means that from the beginning of the pandemic, i.e. for almost two years, 4,120,248 people fell ill in Poland and 97,559 died.

– 99 infections are data without indicating the address, which will be supplemented by the sanitary inspection – adds the Ministry of Health.

478 new infections were recorded in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Most in Lublin.
