According to GCS, most of the diseases were registered in Bucharest, where 232 infections were reported. Then, on the next place in terms of the number of diseases is Cluj County, with 125 infections, followed by Constanța, with 91 diseases.

On the other hand, the counties with the fewest cases of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, are Mehedinți, with only three infections, but also Călărași, respectively Gorj, with five diseases.

How many patients infected with COVID-19 are in serious condition at the hospital

In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 exceeds 2,300.

Almost 400 of them are hospitalized in the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Units in the country and are struggling to survive. Only 32 of the critically ill patients have a certificate attesting to vaccination.

“Out of the total number of hospitalized patients, 53 are minors, 46 being hospitalized in wards and 7 at ATI”, also stated the representatives of the Strategic Communication Group.
