Hubert Hurkacz won his match with a Greek in the ATP Cup.
Hubert Hurkacz and Stefanos Tsitsipas were to face in the second match of Poland’s confrontation with Greece in the ATP Cup. One of the best tennis players in the world, however, reported an injury and was replaced by Aristotelis Thanos, who is 1076 in the ATP ranking. The Pole won without any problems.
Hurkacz’s match with Tsitsipas was going to be exciting. They both watched the previous match of Kamil Majchrzak and Michail Pervolarakis, which ended with the victory of the former 6: 1, 6: 4. When it looked as though we were about to see them on the court, Tsitsipas reported indisposition due to an elbow injury.
