France has a fourth day in a row with more than 200,000 new cases of Covid

A France registered more than 219,000 new Covid cases in the last 24 hours. It is the fourth day in a row that the country has recorded more than 200,000 infections in a single day.

Only in the last seven days, were detected more than a million cases of the disease (1,103,555), which represents almost 10% of the total registered in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. The data reflects the high transmission of the Ômicron variant in France.

Since last Monday, remote work has become the rule for all French companies that can adopt it. The mask also became mandatory on the streets, and the number of people at events for the general public was limited to a maximum of 5,000 people outdoors.
